A July afternoon on Lake Lavijärvi. The water was crystal clear, and the landscape was reflected so precisely that the picture could have been turned upside down. I photographed the silence from the cottage pier – until the sauna interrupted everything. And there was nothing more urgent than going to the sauna.

This print is a frozen moment. A perfect summer vacation day, between light and water.
